Privacy policy

Property Manage It (propertymanageit2.org) is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Write propertymanageit2@gmail.com with a privacy question.

What we collect

• Account: your name, email, and a password hash, so you can sign in.
• Jobs you post, messages, booking times, and the before, during, and after photos until the job is paid.
• Location, only after you tap Use my location. It is used once to show jobs within about 25 miles. It is not stored on our servers and is not collected in the background.
• Card payments are handled by Stripe for real-world repair work. We do not store card numbers.

How it is used and shared

The data runs the board: posting, booking, photos, and pay. After a job is booked, the handyman can see the street address, and the owner can see the work photos. We do not sell personal information. Stripe receives the amount and a payment description so the card can be charged. Stripe’s policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

How long we keep it

Account details stay until you delete the account. Jobs and messages saved on this device stay until you delete them or the account. Work photos are removed from the owner and handyman screens once the job is paid. A separate password-locked work-records file keeps those photos so they can be opened if there is a dispute. That file is deleted with the account. Stripe may keep the charge record for fraud prevention and taxes. We do not keep your location after you leave the jobs screen.

Delete your account

You can delete the account and the data stored with it inside the app, or on the web without reinstalling. Delete account.
